So I have seen a few diffrent answers to this question. I am installing new cam and hydraulic lifters. I have 1972 351w heads non rail rocker arms. The book I read said tq to 20 lbs. The socket is a 9/16. Is 20 lbs correct?

Well, if you are using non rail rocker arms you must be using guide plates. If you have guide plates you must be using screw in rocker arm studs that are not shouldered and have no torque spec.
