I think someone touched on this a few weeks ago. I was talking to Crane Cams the other day about a stick for Lolita's new 388, and he mentioned that it could be hard to hind hydraulic rollers like I wanted. Seems their ONLY manufacturer of hydraulic rollers went out of business and they don't have a backup yet. He was right about having trouble finding lifters. I couldn't find any Crane hydraulic rollers at all, and Comp Cams still has this fixation with stock-type rollers, spiders and reduced-base-circle cams.

I decided to go with solid rollers, and I did find them from a little shop in Moline, Ill. Got 'em in my hot little hands as we speak..

I think the shortage applies to all lifters - I had trouble getting flat tappet hydraulic lifters a month ago.
Does anyone know who went out of business?
I am surprised that the prices have not jumped up already.
