For those of you who have done this, is there an easy way to separate the skin in the drip rail area? Seems to be spot welded every inch.

I could slowly grind the entire skin edge off but this does not help me with the replacement skin as it is still attached to the roof frame from the donor car.

It's actually pinch welded the entire run. I sliced the roof away from the weld, then came back with a grinder and used the edge to slowly erase the pinch welded section. It's actually not that time consuming.
