I have some rust through on the rocker panel.
How difficult is it to weld in new ones?
What is involved?
Any web sites with this info or a how to?
This would be a do it myself repair. I have a mig.

It's not bad with a mig. Practice a bit on spare sheetmetal. Grind or cut out any rust spots - rust won't weld and will blow through. Tack any new pieces in place, then seam weld them in. I use a grinder to then flatten the weld to the point where a little filler can be used. My best results were when the piece could be taken off and ground flat on both sides.
