Ok...I had my tank pulled and cleanted after I had noticed a few specs of junk in my clear filter. Now that it has been cleaned I hooked everything back up. Now, my filter is completely clogged with rust specs....what gives? What would make it be 1000 times worse than before I had it cleaned out? Is it my lines...even though there was barely anything at all in my fuel?

Ever heard let sleeping dogs lie? If all you had was a few specs of rust the filer is doing its job. Run a jank of gas then change the filer and i'de bet it will be fine again. The mustang is 35 years old, be glad the gas tank isn't dripping on the driveway.
