Well I went in to by some speakers at a local store and in the back I saw a nice looking 65 convertible in the shop for installations. I go around to the back and see the technician hacking away at the dash for a cd installation. AHHHHHHH! How could they? Makes me wanna cry... The previous owner did that to my car and it wasnt easy to fix. What were they thinking?

I know what you mean. I just hacked my dash out this evening for the new cd player/sony explodes in the rear. But ::
my dash was already hacked for something that was no longer there (and badly I might add). Soooo, I went ahead and did the amputation to clean this mess up and it turned out very nice indeed on my 66 coupe. If I had a nicer vert or fb or heaven forbid a shelby, I would have had the dash fixed right and put the hideaway cd stuff in.
