It was raining hard in Panama City Beach, as I drove down to get copies made of my garage plans. As I walked out of the Blueprint shop, and backed out in the Hondamaggotwaggon, two spaces down was a primo black 67 or 68 KR350! Now who in their right mind would drive that in a pouring rain?

If only I knew electricity, I'd hotwire that sucker and scoot out of town!

Let me check your shorts! My multimeter is just a-waiting!

Wow, in the rain and everything. That's hard core! I know I couldn't do it.

Hmm, I was actually thinking about driving my GT500KR to the body shop (I live in Wisconsin) I have driven it in the rain (I admit it was not a smart thing to do, I was going 95mph) Funny thing about metal and fiberglass it dries out rather quickly. I say drive them, fix em, drive em some more

I applaud you. Why own it if you aren't going to enjoy it. What better way to enjoy than to DRIVE!

No, I don't have a Shelby, but you can bet I would drive it.

If I buy another Mustang my wife is going to divorce me. I sure am going to miss her.

Never said driving them was bad, only in the rain. Once the car has been totally apart, it's hard to ever get it back that clean. Rain makes it tough...

Driving them is what it's all about. When I had a fully restored 67 GT350 a few years ago I drove 5 hours in the rain from Alabama to Nashville to go to a SAAC show and it rained the whole time at the show and on the return trip too. Five hour drives were a norm. What a blast! I wish I still had it.
