Hi all..
I've got a 65-66 headlight bucket and going to do some repair.
Any one have/willing to part with the pot metal bucket sections pictured so that I can graft on new sections?
Will consider a entire 'junk' bucket as well...

I replaced one of mine and was able to repair the other.
The problem was that if everything didn't fit well, when the screws were tightened the bucket was put under stress.
The first thing to go was the upper bracket.
I often wondered if it was in two pieces, if that problem could have been avoided.

The top of that casting around the headlight rim with those big holes in there is pretty flimsy. I don't see why they did that. Smaller slits there should work just as well for venting heat. Both mine broke there.

I’ve got two bent for the drivers side but they are bare pieces.

I bought the repair kit that replaces the top thin metal piece that breaks off on all of them Had to grind on the repair to get the front trim ring to fit again. I did not have to repair the drivers side so I have the repair piece left over as well as the two headlight buckets.
