I'm looking foward to getting my '65 V8 4spd coupe on the road this spring, but some of the baby stuff is holding me up. The car came with a disconnected rally-pac. The book "Mustang How To vol. one explains the hook-up and wiring. Tach side: Blue w/red stripe -light, Red- ign switch, Black- coil. Easy? I burned up my Pertronix module. Clock side: Blue w/red stripe- light, Black: ground, Blue w/black stripe: hot. The clock is clean, I applied some oil. I gently filed the points. When I applied power to it the clock runs until the points make contact. Then the clock stops. Ideas? By the way, what does it mean when someone says PM me? Thanks everyone!

The gears are still binding. The points just 'wind' the clock.
