1973 Mustang Mach 1

Seat belt - retainer side falling apart on 3 of 4 buckles.

I have owned the car since 1975 - 56,000 miles.

The small plastic cover breaks and the retainer falls apart.

Is there a replacement plastic cover to replace broken one?

I assume that this is a common problem?

I look forward to your guidance!

Can you please show pics one of the other belts that is complete and unbroken....Thanks.

"Is there a replacement plastic cover to replace broken one?"

I would say "No." It looks like you have one of the first "Small Type" Ford Seatbelts...No parts of it are reproed except for the webbing.

One thing that is lacking in the Reproduction department is OEM type Ford seatbelts. 1968 to 1970 ones are the only OEM Seatbelts currently being Reproed.

Python and SSSNAKEOYL are the ONLY companies currently doing Seatbelt Restorations... You may give them a hollar, but hold onto your wallet!

or try Ebay from time to time...because Originals do show up..

)
