I was wondering if anybody has ever done this or thought about this. I have a '76 F-150 parts truck, and need a pair of seat belts for a '73 Mustang. It looks like I could unbolt the belts from the truck at three points any bolt them in to the mustang at the three normal points. This would give me the shoulder and lap belts all in one. Although it wouldn't be original, I think it would be safer. Anybody have any comments?

It should work just fine. When looking into putting 3 point belts into my '69, I noticed that pretty much any 3 point belt would work, it's just that many of the aftermarket ones looked cleaner when installed.

If it'll bolt in and looks ok, go for it. It should be just fine, safety wise.
