I figured you folks would know (hopefully :p )

Howdy,

I am going to replace the seat side shields (the chrome-ish L shaped things on the sides of the seat) and was wondering about the spacers. My driver's seat has 2 spacers, a small square one and a rectangular one; the pass. seat only has the rectangular one.

Where do these spacers go? on the middle screw, bottom? are there supposed to be 3 per side? my old trim is bent to crap and I think that the PO tightened down the screws w/o the spacers and they just mangled them up. I don't want the shiny new ones to be bent up like those.

btw, 1966 black standard int.

Thanks!

As I recall, a round washer-like spacer goes in the center and a rectangular D-shaped spacer goes at the bottom. Nothing at the top.
