I need better seats for my stang, but the interior is palomino. Anybody know of a maker of aftermarket or used oem seats in a color close to mine (palomino is kinda tan)?
Any suggestions appreciated!

TAN? It seems like all modern cars have either tan or grey interiors. You could probably go to the local junkyard and take your pick. A little modification, and waamo, your stylin.

How are your seats? You could send them to me for my 64.5.

The seats aren't too bad. They could use re-covered, but only because of fading. '65 seats just suck compared to todays cars, and since I'm not concerned with originality and I sometimes do open track events, I want something with more support. Once I find some new ones I'll be looking to get rid of my old ones.

Jim - for your track events you'll definitely want to upgrade your seats. You could go with race seats from Mustangs Plus, but they are not cheap and will not be palamino. I'd try to find some modern seats from a junker. One VMFer's website I visited last week detailed his retrofitting modern seats into his 65/66 by using the original frames/tracks. Did not seem too hard. Dickson
