Allright, I think it is about time we solve the mystery of pics not showing up. Jay thinks it may be how browsers treat forward and backward slashes in the URL's. I'm going to post two pictures, exactly the same, but with different slashes. Respond back with your platform, browser, version, and which pictures you see, if any. We will be able to determine which browser, platform, and style works consistently.

First pic, using forward slashes: http://clubs.hemmings.com/baymustang/flamicon.jpg

Second pic, using back slashes: http:\\clubs.hemmings.com\baymustang\flamicon.jpg

I'm using IE 5.0, windows 98 and I see both pictures.

Also Midlife, I don't know if it is just me, but when I come into this thread (only this one), I get a windows Alert message "forums.vintage-mustang.com could not be found. Please check the name and try again". It still allows me to enter.

The first test pic is fine, The second is blank. I do see the one on the left and the one attached to your signature. That would make it 3 out of 4> the one that doesn't make it is the one with the back slashes.

Mac PPC/IE5.
