Something we might not know. Doesn't have to be earth shattering. Something your proud of, something you don't like, something you do like, something you'd like to do with your life. A hobby that's not necessarily car related.

For me. Several things.

1. I have a knack for finding things. Not just stuff I've lost, but anything. Things lost, things needed. Except for time, can never find that.

2. I've always wanted to do something artistic or creative. I would still like to learn to make furniture or do something wood related.

3. I'm somewhat logical. I can understand how things work, even if I can't explain things. Like engines or electrical motors, just stuff.

4. I adore my husband. He can make me laugh when I need to the most.

Okay ,here's a little known fact about me:

Although I have made a career in the Concrete Business, ( 25 Years and counting ) my first career choice was Fine Art and Illustration. I studied Art in college, and developed an unusual technique involving pencil and watercolors of which I was very successful. Fine Art is a very competitive field and once I started a family, I needed to find "STEADY" work. So, in a nutshell, I had to find a more lucrative career. No regrets, but a career in Art would have been nice.

Can you help me find my Ipod shuffle, I lost (misplaced) it about a month ago.

About me:
1. I like (love) doing yard work...call me crazy but it relaxes me.
2. I always thought I would like having a boy as my first child, but the first time I held my little girl I truely believed it couldn't get any better.
3. Don't tell her but my wife still turns me on!

A fact very few people know:

I am a very shy person at heart...truly!

I'm one of the top researchers on the disappearance of Amelia Earhart, and have co-written a book on it.

I'm an inveterate napper; I love siestas.

I'm an avid kayaker in local streams/creeks/rivers. Not yet into white-water stuff.

And finally, I am on the FBI's most wanted list...but they'll never catch me! Bwahahahaha!

For me...

Our son was born on a TV show.

He was an Invitro-Fertilization baby and my wife was 40. The show was about women who overcome obstacles in their life. Aired during daytime on NBC. (Show got cancelled, I think) They filmed a few hours at our home while she was on bedrest and then in the delivery room. We had 2 cameramen, a boom operator (microphone), 2 producers, my mom, the doctor, and four nurses......I didn't even realize they were there, I was so concentrated on my wife and the Dr.

So our 1st son is a star already! :)

As for me.
1.Hobbies pretty much include cars, guitars, and building computers.
2. My eyes are 2 different colors, blue and brown. Kinda neat, always brought up in conversation.
All I can think of at the moment.

I like playing with electric trains. Especially big ones!

http://foxtrolley.org/

After months of training and testing I am a fully qualified motorman and can operate interurbans and streetcar equipment from 1902 to 1959. (We don't have anything newer yet)

I spend a few days a month doing this.

I contracted polio when I was six years old, one of only two kids in my school who got sick. The other lived at the other end of my block. Fortunately, I had had three of the four booster shots. To recover from it, my mother started a dance class after school and I found one of the things I truly love to do. I have done ballet, modern, and belly dancing, and still practice the latter now and then. I'm probably the only person who gets up from working under a car and does a dance move while getting up.

I'm also very shy, mostly because of the rejection I faced when I became ill. So, my online persona is very different from who I really am.

That's about it, some secrets I have to keep.

1. I am probably more sensitive than most men, (I get teary eyed in feel good situations), --great sports moments, peoples achievements, probably more than sad situations.
2. I am a terrible under achiever, I had the oppurtunity to go to college all paid and didn't do it.
3. I have incredible memory about meaningless things,( I can remember many grade school conversations vividly) no memory when it is really needed.
4. I have never had the goal of being wealthy--always made enough to get by comfortably---read # 2 again--lol
5. I always thought I would like to have been a lawyer, back to # 2 again!
6. I don't feel I am any better than anyone, I also hold few people in awe, I am impressed by people who work hard for their goals.
7.I think the only situation that would bring me to killing anyone would be a molestor of my grandaughter--(I used to say anyone molesting my kids but they are now grown)

I have a knack for fixing anything within the limits of my tools.

I can also assy any kit furniture in a fraction of time. I just need to look at the instructions once and minutes later it's done. Boxed grills in 45 minutes. Sucks though, because everyone wants me to build everything for them.

I have a really good photographic memory. I like to study maps. Before we take a trip anywhere, I always study the area first on a map. My wife always freaks that I know right where i'm going, especailly in Italy on our last trip. Who needs a GPS? lol

Plus...i'm a neat freak and the wife isn't.

Oh...I hate to dance...

I know I have not been hanging around here very long, but here it goes.

My dad worked on the Apollo program, helping to design the IBR (itty bitty rockets) that were used to manuver the command module.

I make my living performing doing flood studies.
