If you haven't seen, they have a guy finding a 65 Shelby after a barn collapse and an owners ill health forced him to sell ( the owner happened to be be original purchaser by the way according to story), the price $4000!!!!. It all looks/sounds very believable, then after getting about half way into I realized what month's edition it was, April, is it just a April Fools story? -or- every Mustanger's dream come true? The car number was 5S175 and is supposedly in the Shelby registry.

I saw it as well, and wondered the same thing.

Mustang Monthly (and I presume Mustangs and Fords) have an annual April Fools Joke about Shelbys. I think this is one of 'em. Besides, you think any editor of those mags would pass up a steal like that? No way, Jose!

Let me check your shorts! My multimeter is just a-waiting!

What got me real suspicious was when he said he first offered the guy $2000, making that kind of offer on an originally shelby like that? I would have to swallow about 20 tums just looking at the car and dreaming!

MM and M&F play a cruel April fools day joke on me, I dont get the April edition until about the start of June each year, I'm wondering if I will get the April edition at all this year.
