Found some pictures of a professional making a GT350 clone. The radiator opening was enlarged significantly. I hear rumor Shelby used a galaxy w/AC radiator? What are people finding today that works?

I measured the stock hole, then measured how much I could cut out around the stock hole and still support the radiator. Got on ebay and found a nice aluminum radiator a couple of inches larger and then cut the support to fit.

It's common to run a 69-70-width radiator in the early cars, you have to remove about 2in per side from the hole in the radiator support.

Cobra Automotive also offers a nice aluminum Griffin unit with integral oil cooler. This is what I have in my '65, and did the same cutting to my support as done on original Rs.
