I'm making a custom shifter lever for my five speed in the 68 and need to know the following things:

1)overall length of shifter lever from where it attaches to where the knob screws on.
2)diameter of threaded part for shifter knob.
3)height of threaded part.
4)thread count.

Thanks in advance for the info!

The info you seek is irrelevant. The only dimension you really need is the distance between the two bolts that hold the lever into the shift mechanism. Everything else can be customized to your liking. Unless, of course, you are only customizing the shifter handle.

BTW, the thread size for stock handles is very weird. It's almost 1/2", but not quite.
