Ok, so I am looking at the bid history for this GT500E and I am supposed to believe there are three people stupid enough to bid over $180,000 for this car? Oh, yeah, they have a combined three eBay bids. One stupid person yes, but three?

People are a little bit insane about GT-500E's. They keep selling for prices that would put a GT500KR, a Boss 429, and a nice driver in your garage.

People bidding for cars are often not regular eBayers. I frequently see car bidders with under-10 ratings, often zero or one.

Here is another take on this. Those stupid Beanie Babies have reportedly been sold for "hundreds of dollars." Ever run into somebody that paid that? Neither have I.
If you paid that kind of dough for a car, wouldn't you want to go show it off/ I haven't run into one of the pro-built ones yet.

I don't think twice about seeing the 0 feedbackers on cars. Most likely they signed up so to bid on that particular car. Also, the back and forth bidding is another sign of a clueless newbie since any veteran ebayer knows that a single bid for their absolute max is the best way to win. Whether that particular car is worth that much money, I have no idea.
