Anyone know where to buy weld in shock tower braces? Like the brackets on Boss. The weld in fender well style. Or are those home made? I guess this prevents cracking in V8 cars.
I assume you're referring to when the shock tower rips apart, down where the upper arm attaches as I recall. This happened to my 67 on both sides, but 15 years apart. Both times a welder repaired the problem with steel stock. The guy who worked on the final side had a template made so he could align things properly. Seems as though he had done this a bunch.
