I have to rig up a way to move my coupe so I can move this weekend. There is no front suspension/engine etc. although the tranny is still in.

I am going to be using a 1000# movers dolly as the basis for my contraption. Should one be enough to support the front end, or do you think two would be needed?

I am really hoping only one is needed as it is going to be easier to fabricate everything.

If the car weighs 2800# with motor and suspension and you take out 500#, divide by 2----that says the front "Could" still weigh 1150#. If it were mine, I'd find another way.

I realize there's a different weight distribution, but I wouldn't want to risk it.

Hey Britton, I have some of those Harbor Freight car dollies that you can use if you want, you'd just need to figure a way to strap the car on to them. They'll hold the car for sure.
