I said I would retire my 88 at 300,000 miles. It clicked over 2 weeks ago.It still runs great but is getting a "little"rusty. Its pretty much all original.Even the Right tail light/brake light is original. It uses a little oil but will still roast the tires if I want to.It still gets 22+ mpg on the highway.I think it will need a clutch before long.....only 300,000 miles out of a clutch?Whats next...a new tail light?

Dang Jawstang!!!! You have almost caught up with me and the little 280z , 405k miles...and counting!!!!

I did a rebuild at 215k and the alum cylinder head finally went at
390k miles it has since been replaced along with mods....

it still runs like a champ using minimal amount of oil....

I say keep on running it!!!
