I got my garage sale tires mounted on my flea market rims today(total $30.00 invested). There was a 67-68 coupe sitting behind the tire place and the guy that owns it made me this offer---
3 67-68 coupes ( 1 wrecked front end, good rear, disk brakes, interior; 2 parts cars)
a 71 351W w/ C6 ( runs)
all three hauled to my house for $800
One good car can be assembled, will have to find a hood, grill, and bumpers.
What do you guys think, I could probably sell The Other Woman for about $1000 to $1500.
How do I decide?
If anyone is interested, the cars are in Atlanta area, If I decide not to do it, I will gladly pass the info on.
TIA,Dan

If you have the room for them to not be in the way, then probably yes. I would think that you could put one decent driver together and probably have enough stuff left over to "part out" to get back your $800 investment if they aren't complete basket cases. Wouldn't that be cool?

Dang! Just when I got used to being "strange", I became a "newbie", then a "tire-kicker". Now I'm a "beginner"?.....hmmmmmm...where do I start?
If you have the room go for it, If he will haul them to Holland Michigan 49424. I will take them for $800 *G*

I agree with Kelly. If you've got the room to do it, and if you can get SWMBO to agree, I think it'd be worth it. The thing is, you'll have to remember that you're just putting it back together to sell it, not to keep it. If you don't, you'll never make money on the deal. That's why I think builder cars are better if you don't really like them - you know what I mean?
