I put the car through a metamorphesis every time I switch from Stock to Rock. 15"wheels, air cleaner change to accommodate the MC bar, and the one-piece export brace. That's where the fun begins. What I need is some better shift linkage to go with my toploader. Not to start an arguement but what's the best for this package?

If you mean shifter and linkage, I guess Hurst Comp+ is an old favourite. I have that and Nascars have them. So, any more questions. You are better off by buying a new one than trying to find an old original one, because the OEM applications are not servicable anymore, I think.

Changed to a hurst comp + along time ago. Much much better than the original. IIRC someone is rebuiding & tightening up the originals but I don't remember who. You might want to try a search on the old forum if that is the way you want to go.

Dan Williams has Hurst linkage that use a Ford handle... Stock look but upgraded mechanicals.
