thanx....yeah its the new hood from mustangs plus. the r something or another. i bought it from the newsletter before it had a name. i really like it though. its something new that for some reason just caught my attention and i ordered it soon as i saw it. the pic doesnt do it justice though, it is a nice hood in person and cant wait to drive around with it. although i feel like itll NEVER happen. i thought id have it painted within a week. hehe. its been over a month, now i have to wait for the flares. oh well. thanx again

From the picture it looks similar to the '68 Shelby hood, am I correct?

its sorta a mix between a 67 and 68 but with a cowl intermixed in there. its very original, i think. you can get a better look at it at www.mustangsplus.com but like i said. i think the picture looks kinda funny, much better in person.

I like it too. It looks like it would grab more air than the one on my
car. A fresh air set up under that would work great. You have a
cool looking car there. Good Luck with it.

The hood looks cool, although it reminds me of the raim air hood on the early Firebirds.
Does it provide any extra hood clearance? Hee hee.

... hood on the early Firebirds. It could also look like the mid 60s Mercury Cyclones.
