Well, crap....the signs I had from last year are not to be found....but it's really not hard to find....Lot 16....when you enter the park...go past the zoo.....stay to the right till you see Mustangs and you're there....see you guys tomorrow.
I was going to make an appearance, but it seems that my plans have changed. My daughter is in a water polo tournament and I have be there. Maybe next year we will have another 80 degree day in January. fd
Got back a little while ago, and uploaded the pics to Photobucket. It sure was great meeting you all, and I had a GREAT TIME talking with you!! It's also nice putting a face to a screen name. Good food, and great company....what else can anyone ask for?
So, below are a few shots of the cars. I know some of you others got pics of the people, so post up!!
Go to see everyone and to meet some new faces! Beautiful weather too!
I can't believe I didn't get a ticket on Chapman going toward the 241. I had my cutouts removed and nailed it through a good part of 2nd and look up and there is a cop with someone pulled over just ahead of me! Either he is deaf or something, but he didn't even look up when I went past...that was a close one.
Just for the record, man the car is loud with cutouts open! I had to see what it was like to drive it with 'em open, but I think i'll leave 'em closed except for the track.
LOL--Tracy I was behind you when you did that, good thing the cop already had a customer, or you would have been his next! Great meeting everyone, sorry I had to leave so early though. The wind chill at 81F was just too much...Shoulda brought a jacket!
Here are some pictures I took:
Here are Chris, Jason, and Dave:
This is Dave?? and Tracy:
I didn't get the other Chris or myself in pictures.
Hey all - I'm looking for an original deluxe hood for my 68. Does anybody have one they're willing to sell?
Given the size and weight, I figured I'd post here locally rather than the WTB section. I'm guessing freight would have been cost prohibitive. But I live in Mission Viejo and could...
The original radiator out of my 1965 K-code San Jose car (C4ZE Y2 12/64) needs to be gone through, but because of its value and rarity, I'm holding off getting it done until I can locate a shop with a reputation for good work and honesty. I can't think of a better source for recommendations...
