Have a soda, a smile, and a ROTTED GUT!!! LOL

I've been soaking a rusty, cracked chassis part I intend to reinforce and reweld and add to my car.

I put it in a bucket with some soda several days ago, and slowly but surely THE RUST IS COMING OFF!! It even turned the rust black like the corrosion conversion products.....it'll be funny if the active ingredient in rust converters is an acid similar to whats in soda.

But if it can eat rust this way, I don't want to think what all the sodas I've drank over my life done to me.
