Can't you just run a 94-95 intake elbow which mounts the throttlebody at about a 45 degree angle.

I’ve seen it done but can’t recall if it interferes with the export brace or the Montecarlo bar. I did mine the best way I could with all the stock parts from the 5.0 and as cheap as possible.

Just an FYI that the 5.0 Explorers have a cast 90° elbow that bolts on and points the TB forward. It's also 65mm. Might provide a little more clearance than an elbow coming off the TB itself.
