I'm looking to replace some stock V-8 spindles on a '65. I've heard you can replace them with stronger '70 ones. Does anyone have any good sources for these. I've come up with nothing at the local junkyards and the few places I spoke to online wanted what seemed unreasonable $$$$. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You can buy reproduction spindles from discbrakeswap.com that are specifically made for a 65-66 and incorporate all the strengthening mods from the later spindles...plus you avoid the possible issues associated with putting on later-model spindles.

These spindle from Discbrake swap are different. They are "GOOD" different.

They are like the later spindles but forged just for the 65-66. They are unique because of that.
