Anyone have recommendations for a quality set of spark plug wires for my '65 with a stock distributor (with pertronix)? They need to be 8mm or bigger, black in color, and have a good fit (if they aren't the kind your crimp the ends on yourself). TIA!

I tried Petronix's plug wires - they look stock, and work well with a 40000 volt coil. No Problems!

I checked them with an ohmmeter last week, and they had fairly low resistance per inch compared with my old wires...

I also went with the black Pertronix. I have had them on for about 9 months, no problems

I use Jacobs wires. A little pricey but they are very efficient and guaranteed for life. Plus they are big have a spiral outer wiring for noise suppression and are covered in a silicon sheath. I just tried out the warranty. Had about 150k miles on my first set. No problem. The old ones were 8mm and the new ones are 9mm.
