I use weld thru primer when using the mig machine and have had no problems so far.
I just bought a spot welder(Miller LMSW-52T 220V)for our latest project(64.5 coupe) and my welding supplier is telling me not to use weld thru primer with the spot welder as it will not get good weld penetration.
It really pains me to think that we will do all this work replacing the panels only to leave behind areas that will be prone to rust.
Is anyone using these 2 together with good results. What procedures do you use for spot welding and priming and sealing

I dont really believe that so I would have to say do a sample part and take it to the vise and try to rip it apart.
Let us know what the results are too.
