I couldent find any posts with the search in the forum, but was hoping for some input on what I can do about my very squeaky drum brakes, mostly from the front drums. Sounds like a train stopping. I have only a couple hundered miles on the new brakes, pads, springs, drums, and cylinders all new. Thanks in advance gang! James.

Sounds like you might have a shoe material that is too hard. You might want to try a different brand of shoes to see if that helps.

Good luck.

What type/composition shoes are you running? I know some wagner shoes squeak from the metal
content.

I purchased all of my brake parts from Autozone, any brand I should get in particular that you guys like or have had good luck with? Thanks. James.

I've used Autozone stuff before, I believe they have the Albany brand. I wasn't impressed. They are just too cheap. I go with Napa United for all my braking needs, now.
