They made three different stabilizer bars depending on the suspension option. Non-GT cars got 3/4 or 7/8" (I'm not sure). GTs got 15/16". Competition suspension (very rare option) got 1".

All the 67 Shelbys got 1".

Does anyone know what the diameter of a stock 67 mustang 390 c.i.4-speed stabilizer bar should be?
According to the How to Vol 1 and article by Paul Duprey 67-68 front bars were

5/8" 200, 289, 302, C7WY-5482-A
3/4" 390 RPO Improved handling package, C7ZZ-5482-D
7/8" All GTs with Improved handling package, C7ZZ-5682-C
15/16" All GTs with maximum handling package, Shelbys (???) and 428CJ, C9ZZ-5482-E

Based on my 68s that sounds about right, 7/8 on my gt s-code and 15/16 on my r-code, just measured the other day. bill
