Running a Blue Print Engines 408 stroker, TKO 600, FPA headers, hydraulic clutch, what starter do I need

Whatever fits your engine / bell housing. I'm running a 331 SBF and have a Powermaster mini starter with the GM-style solenoid. While I haven't tested, I don't doubt it'll spin my motor.

[/QUOTThanks for the input, I looked at the Powermaster, but opted for the Mr. Gasket gear drive. Fits great, more power than Powermaster

What flywheel tooth count, bellhousing are you using? Powemaster 9603 or 9604. Powermaster website has some good tech details on SBF starters.

I've had good luck using PA Performance.com starters. Excellent parts and their tech support is second to none.
