Anybody ever fry a starter because of headers heating the thing into oblivion? I was kind of curious if many people had this problem, and if so what can be done to prevent this. Thanks for any help.

Only fried them on a FE never on a small block
Try some header wrap and also a heatshield on the starter
to insulate it
