starter solution

I bought the 1.1 kilamegahertz ford motorsport mini starter. It fit the space but
the gear was already engaged just bolting it up. I took a dead regular starter to
the lathe and made a spacer out of it. It works and looks real nice. It took most
of the day (I had to buy a lathe) Do you think I can use was left as a core for my
deposit?

As long as they don't look in the box at it ;-). By the way, what did the starter cost ya? John

It would be a shame to have passed the test but to have missed the lesson.
Sure! Next time you might ask about a starter for a 164 tooth ring gear.
What you got sounds like a 157 tooth starter. On a 164 the gear lives back
inside the starter housing. On a 157 it is out in the open.
You could make up some of those spacers and make some extra cash!!!
