Discussion Starter #1
I have a question about starting. When the car is cold, it starts right up no problem. After running or driving for a while, when I start it, it hesitates like the battery is low on amps but then cranks right up. Alternator, battery, starter solenoid, and voltage regulator are brand new. Could the starter itself be going bad?

Starter brushes. I replace my own. $20 in brushes beat the $275 price tag for the rebuilt starter the dealer wanted for my 86 RX7. Got to solder them in though. Need a big a$$ iron to do it. Not one you'll find at your local Radio Shack.
