Hi everyone-

Just had a quick diagnosis question about a creaking noise I have heard recently while making a turn. This is with manual steering and I can feel the creaking vibrating up the steering column and into the wheel itself. I know that the rubber bushings in the steering linkages are not good, so that might be the other case I thought of. Any ideas? The suspension bushings were just replaced last week, so that should rule them out.

Oh, and everything is original I'm certain...maybe just it's just age?

Thanks in advance.

Check the upper control arms. They were supposed to have grease fittings installed at 24,000 often overlooked, and when they wear, the front end creaks.
