The colder the engine, the more dense air you can get in. For them it's all about Hp/I'd love to hear a definitive, scientific answer on this. Cause when I watch Engine Masters and those guys are shooting for the most HP, they run engines at like 165*F. Conversely, I've always heard that the hotter the engine can safely run without overheating, the more efficient it is.
