I have a 69 SCJ 428 it has what appears from the drawings I can find to be a stock style exhaust. Stock manifolds. It has an "H" style pipe with two bullet style resonators and a large muffler cross ways behind the rear end with the dual tips exiting the rear valance. Everything is stainless and welded with no clamps...is that the way it was from the factory?

Do not believe so. Don't think they ever used stainless and all systems were clamped from the factory...
