1964 1/2 conv. stolen in Los Angeles on August 7, 2002. #100462. Original CA (black and gold) license plate number OXS 646. Praire bronze exterior, black interior in excellent condition. Original 8 cyl 260 hp engine rebuilt a year and a half ago with less than 3000 miles on it. Paint almost like new. If anyone has any ideas about where the thieves would take it, do to it, etc please let me know. Also, can you tell me how I might research a fair market value on the car, because my insurance company will. If you see it call the police!

I would guess that it is heading for the ship yards.....or for the border.....infact it is probably true that most stolen cars in the LA area end up in the northern Mexico area.

The best thing to do is to go to a nice car show and find a comparable one for sale and give your insurance pics and price....

It is sad that others have to resort to stealing to get a nice pony......I hope you either recover it or gain another one of equal or better value.

peace
