I want to make my 351 windsor into a stoker engine. Can anyone out there tell me where I can find all the info on what i should make and what parts I will need and where the best place to find them is.
Thanks Al

Search the VMF archives....a number of VMF'ers have completed or are in the midst of such projects...

Lots of great tips on manufacturers and potential pitfalls...the process is essentially the same as building a stock-stroke W like I run in the race car, except for a different rotating assembly.

If you have any specific engine-building questions, feel free to ask..

Good luck!

I believe the March issue of Hot Rod had a very good stroker basics article. Might be a good place to start.

And as Pat said, lots of past posts on strokers here on the VMF.

I believe PAW has a few different 351W stroker kits available. They include the block and all necessary parts to build either a short block or long block engine. I can't vouch for their quality, however.

PAW offers some stroker kits as does Coast High Performance. Buy an issue of Mustangs and Fast Fords magazine, it is loaded with companies selling stroker kits and short/long blocks.
