I'm replacing both strut bars on a '73 convertible, due to the threads being damaged beyond repair. I ordered new bars and bushing kit. However, just learned the adjusting nuts are not included !

Since the thread size appears to be highly special, does any one know where I can get just the adjusting nuts?

I bought mine from Ford. Parts stores couldn't get them.

I believe what you are looking for is on page 27 of CJPONYPARTS catalog. Part number HW950. Two for $5.95. The description is strut rod jam nuts 68-73 fine thread car.
