I just took off my drivers side strut rod and noticed a slight bend in it. Can I straighten it out or should I buy a new one.

Also, when I took my spindles off, I noticed a foam gasket between the backing plate and the spindle. Do I need to replace that? If so, where can I get one. I have not seen this in any parts catalog.
Thanks everyone!

I had mine straightened at the same machine shop that turned my Granada rotor snouts. I have had no deflection since, its been about 2 1/2 years.....The foam you may have to fab yourself, not sure if I've seen a repo...

Both National Parts Depot and Virginia Classic Mustang carry that gasket set (repro) inexpensively...
