I removed the 3 bolts on the lower pully this morning and I can not get the pully off. So my question is "do I remove the large bolt in the center? if yes what size is it?(None of my sockets go that big) Once it is removed then do I need the harmonic balancer puller?

VMFers with more experience than me may have seen a pulley that is integral with the damper, but I surely haven't. Try gently rapping around the edge of the pulley with a rubber or plastic mallet. IF this is a vintage damper, it may be past its prime with outer rim slippage and rubber deterioration.

You only need to remove that center bolt IF you're working on a six cylinder. A six cylinder harmonic balancer bolt head size is 13/16, I believe. I know for sure that a V-8 is 15/16.
