I’m installing a MTF headliner in my 65. When I ordered it I ordered the visors to match, when they came in the packaging said they were for a 68. I didn’t order the brackets because I had my existing ones but holy crap do they not want to go in. I know they usually are a tight fit but I’m curious if anyone knows if the diameter of the 67/68 is smaller than the 65/66 and I should’ve ordered new ones? I kind of doubt it but dayum are these things fighting me.

Look into any Mustang vendor's parts book. The 65/66 visors are different than the 67/68 visors. Have the vendor correct what they sent.

They did it on purpose, that style is what matches the headliner, they are almost identical, slightly different shapes as I literally have them both. A bunch of grease, love with a mallet and sweat with some swear words got the trick done. Ok, lots of sweat words!
