I have bought products from SuperbrightLED.com before, and had decent luck with their products. On their site, they seem to have a pretty good way to compare replacement bulbs for most applications..

They show a BA9S-W-120-12VAC as a direct swap for the 1895 in the 67 gauge cluster. So, for just around a buck a peice, I thought I would try..

FYI: I did consider the "kit" sold by CJ / NPD etc.. but they seemed way overpriced, when I am pretty sure they are just re-packaging the same chinese parts..

In any case.. the bulbs came in yesterday, and I am pretty darn dissapointed..

They look good, the metal base is very close at right at 9mm. The issue is the span of the little bump/keepers is only 10.4mm, and the originals are 10.9mm.

Just barely to small to catch a grip on the sockets.

Anyone run into this? I could try to crimp the sockets just a hair to make them grab better??

I wish it would be possible to buy stuff that is not made in China? Surely some other country makes LED bulbs, I have no reservations paying a premium for products not made in a communist country.
