Suspension or bolt on's

I'm trying to find a donor Granada for my car. Should i buy new suspension parts or should i buy engine bolt ons (oil pan, distrb, coil,w.pump etc)???? This may sound stupid but if i buy new tie rods and etc for the front will that make any difference with the Granada brakes????Thanks for any advice.
