how tight, or how much torque, should be applied to the end link nuts for a 1" sway bar??? The 11/16" bar could be tighted as much as I could by hand and it didnt damage the end link bushings, but now, with the 1" sway bar, it totally ripped up the bushings. I received a new set from canadian mustang, and just installed them with the nut barely covering the threads, which seems much better than before, but is there a specific torque setting for the end link bolts???

Spec on the standard sway bar endlinks is 5-11 ft-lbs. I would think it would be about the same on your 1" bar. I set my torque wrench for 100 in-lbs.

Are those Midolyne bushings? If so, get rid of them and get polyurethane or good old rubber. My Midolyne end link bushings disintegrated in less than 100 miles. I think they are just not compliant enough and they tear instead of "smooshing".
