Looking for information on installing a T-45 in a 67 390. I have the transmission, need to know where to buy the spacer and cross member.

If I remember right from reading about the T45, It's stronger than a regular T5 but I don't think it's going to fly behind a 390. I haven't heard a thing about using T45's in anything other than factory applications.

I think you'd be better of using a Tremmeck 5 speed.

I agree, I don't know how long that T-45 will live behind that torque monster.

IIRC, the T-45 is for the modular motor anyway. Isn't the bellhousing part of the trans? I don't think it can be used behind an FE.
